Tempt me is my hands down favorite of the already fantastic Tattoos and Temptations series. Each book introduced us to couples (and in one case throuples) falling in love in different ways. All the stories are interconnected but could be read as standalones (but why would you want to do THAT?)Tempt Me is an age gap, best friend’s brother/friends to lovers delight. This book introduces us to Apollo and his best friend’s little brother Felix. Apollo is questioning his sexuality and Felix, who has had a crush on him for years, volunteered to help Apollo with dating men. From the beginning it’s obvious Apollo didn’t stand a chance of resisting Felix!I absolutely adored Felix, he is one of my favorite MC’s to date. His growing confidence, his style and his resolution to be true to himself makes it impossible not to desperately wants his HEA. Apollo has such a huge heart, and when he finally gives it to Felix, it’s 100%. I love how he accepts and supports Felix’s exploration of his femme side. They are adorable together and it was joyous to be along on their journey to true love. And the chemistry? Scorching. These two are seriously hot together, helloooo lace!Tempt me is romantic, funny, sweet and sexy. There is some angst understandably given that Apollo always thought he was straight, and both of them are afraid to fall for each other and possibly ruin their relationship with their best friend/big brother but it’s low key. And they actually communicate (Gasp)! It’s always nice to have follow up on the boys from the rest of the series, and it was enjoyable to see Felix finding his place and his people at the bakery. It was also sweet to see the strong friendship developing between Apollo and Jude over their formerly held belief of being straight and falling for men.If you’re looking for a low-angst feel good book this is a must read. And if you haven’t read the rest of the series to get here, I highly recommend you do - you’ll fall in love with all the boys of the bakery and tattoo shop.(I was kindly offered an ARC in exchange for an honest review.) **********Contains Spoilers**********I loved this book. I loved the connection between Apollo and Felix even with the age gap and that he’s his best friend Lucien’s little brother, they just clicked straight away. I loved how Apollo loved how Felix could be unapologetically himself when he came home, even when they started out as friends he totally loved how Felix looked and thought he was very pretty. I loved how when Felix and Apollo first went out and Apollo told Felix that he sees his person as a man and that he has no idea how to find one and asks him for advice/help, even though Felix is a wee bit upset as he’s loved Apollo for years but he knows that Apollo mustn’t have any idea as he wouldn’t be asking for advice on men if he knew as he’s not that type of person. I loved that they told Lucien pretty quickly what was happening rather than a lot of other stories that make it a huge thing hiding it from the brother/best friend. Lucien was so supportive especially in the phone call with Felix, basically telling him that since Apollo is such a great guy and loyal friend that he would never make a move so Felix must. He just wanted them both happy as they’re amazing. It was awesome how loving and supportive Felix’s parents and brother are, they love him being able to completely express himself but they just worry about him as people might take offence with how he dresses. That’s unconditional love. I liked how Tate felt very comfortable talking to Felix about how he likes to express his more fem side in private but how does Felix have the confidence to dress how he wants, regardless of how everyone else views him. I like that these books are very low angst and how supportive all their friends are. I’m looking forward to reading the next book when it’s released. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
